Today, we can digitally select our airline seat. Tomorrow, perhaps we will select our hotel rooms the same way.
Either from a remote source online, or at a touch-screen in the lobby, future guests may choose their room from images of the exterior of the hotel, photos of the actual room, it's view and the reviews by former guests of that specific room. Think next gen Tripadvisor.com where real guests in real-time provide an ongoing review of the condition of the hotel.
